JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sept. 9, 2016 – Irish American businessman and renowned rally enthusiast John Campion today announced that his organization, CJJ Motorsports, will provide key sponsorship to World Rally Championship driver Craig Breen as he enters the Rally Isle of Man for asphalt experience. Breen will compete as the number-‐one seed in the 54th annual race, which will take place Sept 15 through 17, 2016 in Isle of Man, United Kingdom.
“Craig Breen is one of the most talented rally drivers racing today,” said John Campion, of CJJ Motorsports. “As a fellow Irishman, I understand where his grit and performance behind the wheel come from. The sponsorship dollars we’re providing will ensure Craig has the best chance of winning as he competes in the September Rally Isle of Man.”
Breen will navigate 20 asphalt stages over three days with his co-‐driver Scott Martin. The duo will use their Circuit of Ireland winning Citroen DS3 R5, run by David Greer Motorsport, as they navigate more than 160 miles of city streets, country roads and open moorlands during the final round of the British Rally Championship.
“I’m really looking forward to going back to the Isle of Man and being back on tarmac,” said Craig Breen, Abu Dhabi Total World Rally Team driver. “It’s been a while since the Circuit of Ireland and I need to get the sensation of it back so we’re in the best possible shape when we get back into a World Rally Car.”
